    Frequently asked questions

Do I upload a file or enter a website address?
Both are supported. Select HTML file or From URL. URL mode accepts public HTTP and HTTPS addresses on standard web ports.
Will external images and fonts appear?
URL mode can fetch supported public images, styles and fonts within its resource limits. Uploaded HTML uses embedded resources only. Pages requiring JavaScript or a login may not render as expected.
Will the PDF remain an interactive website?
No. The result is a document rendering, not a live website with its original interactive behavior.
Where does HTML to PDF process my file?
HTML to PDF uploads the input to the server for processing. Conversion results are stored for re-download until deleted; the memory cleanup timer does not delete stored results. See the Privacy Policy for current retention details.
